We have moved!
After some initial setbacks and unexpected challenges, praise God for helping us complete the move of the clinic to Maryland Heights!
As of 8/31/22, I am seeing patients at the new clinic location. I really appreciate everyone’s patience, as established and new patients worked around the moving schedule with me and are gracious to not complain about the half-finished look, as I find time after work to decorate and organize the new space. A big thank-you to my dad and my husband for helping me pack, move, and set up the new clinic. I also appreciate my landlord and colleagues recommending the different contractors, mover, and services to make this new space and move possible.
I cannot stress enough medical school and residency did not prepare me or my peers for the business side of medicine, and with Direct Primary Care (DPC) model I am thankful I am able to think more about being a doctor than being a small business owner of this clinic, but times like this really make me appreciate the behind-the-scenes working of running a business and how different fields of expertise and services come together to make things happen.
I am grateful for the things I’ve learned and the patient relationships I’ve had since this clinic opened in 9/10/2019. As we enter into year four together, I look forward to how I can better serve my patients and the St Louis community from this new location!
