Happy Open House!
Thank you to everyone who came to my Open House on 11/21/2019.
My apologies for not advertising this better. The weeks leading up to the Open House were getting a little chaotic with trying to be event planner and also office administrator and medical doctor! If you didn’t get a chance to come, please feel free to contact me, and we can arrange a time for you to take a look at the clinic or talk more about Direct Primary Care.
I’m so thankful for the many friends from church and my fiance who helped with furnishing the clinic, setting up, hosting the Open House, and cleaning up for me. Four families from church donated their kids’ used books and toys, and a friend helped me wiped them all down with Chlorox wipes to make the kids’ area a welcoming playroom for the little visitors.
While it’s an ongoing process of improvement and growth, having the Open House really helped me get the entire clinic ready and presentable, not just the patient care areas. This also serves as testament to the importance and blessing of having a supportive community in our lives, people to share our sorrows and joys, people to grow and serve together. It certainly takes a village to raise a child, and I think it still takes a village to raise an adult.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Safe travels! Remember to take personal time, if needed, so you can be kind to yourself and your relatives and enjoy what’s truly important! If you haven’t already, just a reminder to please get your flu shots, and wash your hands regularly to prevent spread of diseases. Thank you!
