TIME FOR CHANGE
It is time to try something other than the insurance fee-for-service system for our healthcare. Direct Primary Care (DPC) seeks to make medicine simple and direct again by removing the negative impact of insurance on the doctor-patient relationship. With Olive Branch DPC, I hope to provide affordable, accessible, quality, compassionate, and direct healthcare.
By not billing insurance, I will have more time for taking care of patients and focus on what a patient needs during the office visit, rather than what insurance requires doctors to do at the visit or document a certain way to get paid appropriately.
As a family doctor, I will be providing traditional outpatient medicine in a clinic setting through Olive Branch DPC. It’s just a different payment model. A patient will pay a monthly fee for me to be their doctor, and this will cover for all the clinic visits that month, which means no additional co-pay for routine physical, follow up on chronic conditions, or acute and new problems. Procedures that results in less than $10 in supplies cost will be included in the monthly fee, and the patient will be charged supply fees over $10 for procedures. Patients can email me through the electronic medical record system regarding non-urgent issues or questions, and patients will have my direct number to call or text after hours for urgent matters. I will have lab and imaging prices available for patients to know how much their care would cost before they get the tests done.
